All he has left are a few broken men and the woman who refuses to give up on him, Kate Killingsworth. But, he’s convinced that the only thing he has to look forward to is a fiery head-on collision with the police, that is, if Kate’s West Highland Terrier doesn’t kill him first. But, he’s okay with all that, as long as he doesn’t have to spend time confronting his difficult past.
All that changes when a mysterious woman appears on his doorstep with a valuable automobile, and soon after, Kate stumbles over a murder. Neither is what it seems, and Cramden finds himself being tested in ways that will either destroy him, or amplify his unique talent for destruction.
