Despite the upbeat nature of my last post, I have some disconcerting news to share. We are not out of the woods yet. There is, unfortunately, a parallel civil law system in this country that somehow snuck past the watchful eye of our Founding Fathers. As part of this system of “law”, there is something called a tort, and a couple of examples include defamation and slander. And maybe invasion of privacy.
I know. I’m just as shocked as you are. How could this happen in America? Under this despotic set of rules, just about everything your children say during fifth grade recess can be used to garnish their wages all the way into adulthood (If this happens, they will be living with you for the untold future).
Unsurprisingly, Mr. Cooper has seized upon this legal machinery to exact a toll against me for telling the world about his criminal escapades. And so far, he is winning. As part of this ongoing legal battle, the judge has forced me to share my media assets with the claimant, so that he may personally rebut anything that he deems inaccurate. There is simply no precedent for this in Western Civilization. It is literally the worst-case scenario. Therefore, I must warn you that the editorial decisions that will be made on this site over the near-term future will be out of my hands. By all means, don’t abandon the news, but please use a discriminating eye and second guess anything on these pages that looks peculiar or has his name attached to it. He is literally capable of writing anything, and I have no doubt, that we will lose our country to this madman, unless this lawless ruling is overturned. I implore you to send a small donation, up to and including whatever you think your own freedom is worth, towards my civil defense in this matter.
Thank you.
